Great question! We use papermill to execute notebooks. The main difference is that papermill only allows you to execute a single notebook, while Ploomber helps you build and execute pipelines (i.e., many small notebooks where the output of one becomes the input of the next one). The main benefit of writing pipelines (as opposed to coding everything in a single notebook file) is that it’s easier to maintain and collaborate.
